2009 Seminar

The 2009 Western Bridge Engineers' Seminar will be hosted by California Department of Transportation. The Seminar will be held on September 21-23, 2009 at the Sacramento Convention Center.

Anticipated topics include:

• Bridge Design, Construction, and Maintenance Practices
• Accelerated Bridge Construction
• Solutions for Emergency Bridge Repair
• Innovative Bridge Materials and Methods
• Eco-friendly Bridge Design and Construction
• AASHTO LRFD Specifications: Impacts on Design and Construction
• Western Bridge Showcase (CA, AZ, WA, NV, OR, AK)

There will be a companion program with a cruise on the Sacramento River and mining for gold in the foothills around Sacramento.
